Dr. Lakshmi Patel is a physician-engineer who has spent 15 years building clinical AI systems. Before joining Abridge, she led machine learning research at Johns Hopkins and served as VP of Engineering at Flatiron Health. She holds an MD from Stanford and a PhD in Computer Science from MIT.
